A Call To All Conservatives

I’m not going to lie and say how happy I am for President-Elect Barack Obama, I’m not going to act like I’m not completely disappointed in Senator John McCain.

I am however going to make this challenge to my Conservative and Republican brethren, do not answer this Election with hate like the left did for President Bush. Do not go about demonizing Pres-Elect Obama, do not result to comparing him to dictators and thugs of times past, it will do no good.

What we can do is oppose his actions where we disagree, and work to reclaiming the Legislature in 2010. We start rebuilding from the ground up, we all know that this party and sect has been dead for a long time, whether we wanted to accept it or not. Here’s our time to shine, and get back to basics.

We do not have a license to hate, Obama is not a Stalin, Mussolini, Lenin, Pot Pol, or whomever angry uneducated people would compare him to. His family is not fair game for snide remarks and attempts to defame them. We will not be the perpetrators of the same crimes we have been victim to for the last 8 years.

Heed my call, or prepare to remain disappointed all the way through 2016.

The Odinga Connection

So, recently the McCain campaign has been attempting to bring to light Obama’s connections with some very “strange” bedfellows, and rightfully so. Ayers, Rezko, Wright, all people who should not be mentors, friends, or drinking buddies with someone who aspires to lead our nation, so what about Raila Odinga? That name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s made recent news in the past 2 years, you know…Kenya, genocide, communist, supporter of radical islam, Anti-US policy.

The funniest part about all of this, and by funny I mean absolutely disturbing, is that during Odinga’s run for Kenyan President, Senator Barack Obama used tax payer dollars, and time to go and campaign for this man in Kenya. He openly supports Raila Odinga, why ISN’T THIS MAJOR NEWS?! WHY is it being given a blind eye? WHY, WHY, WHY do you Obama supporters continue to casually explain away his connections to these people?

Do you want our President to follow their examples? Do you want our President to condone, or turn a blind eye to Domestic Terrorism, Racism, Corruption, Genocide, Radical Islam, Communism? Is this what you wish for our great nation? To take all the work that’s been put into this great nation since the 1700’s and flush it down the toilet? To turn us into the worthless EU? To turn us into a system that mimics the UN?

This is my final say on Obama, HE IS A SCUM BAG. Worthless, Communist Supporter, Supporter of Radical Islam, Supporter of Racism, Supporter of Corruption, Supporter of Genocide, Supporter of Domestic Terrorism. STOP PULLING THE PUNCHES, it’s time to knock this self-inflated dirt bag to the ground. We must stand tall, we must stand proud, we must not allow this man to become elected. PUSH THE VOTE. Push the vote.

The Obama Youth

Ok, usually I find it reprehensible to compare a politician to Hitler, but this is just some plain scary shit.

This is some scary indoctrinating shit, we’re lead to believe that none of these boys had a future or any hope until Obama came along. I don’t even know what to…I mean… The Hitler Youth anyone? Where they claimed their love and dedication to Hitler and his Nazi government, singing to their “Fuhrer".

It’s only because of fanatical followers like this that he’s even a contender….ridiculous.

The Debates: Round 1

So, I wanted to wait until after the VP debate to talk about both of the debates, here’s how I saw the debates:

McCain/Obama Debate:

McCain harped big time on his “Maverick-ness", citing how people have gone to jail because of his financial reforms in the Senate. He mentioned several times how he’s done this, or that. Claiming the numerous bills and accomplishments in his tenure.

Obama harped big time on how he was NOT George Bush, and how McCain was more like George Bush. He did not cite reforms, he did not cite bills, laws, accomplishments. He agreed with McCain on several things and then reminded everyone that he was not George Bush.

Presidential Debate Winner is………..no duh…….Senator John McCain. For providing substance and proof to his statements.

Palin/Biden Debate:

I’m not even going to break their debate down, it was downright boring. Neither of them “wowed” anyone, neither of them brought real substance or knowledge of anything. Though I do want to remind everyone that when Sen. Biden takes credit for something, you may want to double check on that he’s known for his plagiarism.

V. Presidential Debate Winner is…………….No one.

Lucky for us, we don’t have to sit through another useless VP Debate.

Waiting for round 2 of the Presidential Debate.

Stay Motivated.

He Who Must Not Be Named

I love peppering my blogs with random media quotes and phrases, and yes this is a Harry Potter reference.

I was thinking about it this morning as I was cleaning up from PT, how the Media gives Obama so much face time, but what about ourselves? How much time do we give him? We give him more than his fair share, we put his name out there more than any other media source. Am I saying we should stop talking about him and pretend he doesn’t exist? Negative Ghostrider. I am saying that we should be more selective when we choose to speak of him, and what topics we choose to speak of.

The more we hype him up as the anti-christ, the dark lord, emperor palpatine, or any other dark scary figure and throw his name (and multiple nicknames around) the more coverage we give him.

And it’s not that I fear the man, but I fear what his presidency will do to this country.

So next time you’re blogging, keep it in mind to tone him down. He’s already got CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NYT, LAT, WSJ, and any other major media outlet to shout his name for everyone to hear.

And yes I realize I just gave him more face time, but only to address it as an issue :P
